Local Action Group REGINA-Neumarkt

Local Action Groups (LAGs) represent the control centre of support from the LEADER Program. Following the bottom-up approach, more than half of the members have to be businesses, craftsmen, farmers, private persons, associations, interest groups and other economic and social partners. Other partners are also representatives of the participating municipalities, counties and authorities. LAGs supervise different projects in their area and contribute to the realization of a strategy of development. The local Action Groups are independent when selecting the type of Leader funding. A guarantor for the success of the working groups is the cooperation and the joint commitment of employees and volunteers. The office of the Local Action Group REGINA-Neumarkt is located within the private limited company Regina GmbH.
